He's been called the NFL's best defensive player. Friday night, J.J. Watt came home to be honored by the school that helped make him the man he is.
Pewaukee High School honored the former Wisconsin Badger and current Houston Texans defensive lineman during their first-round WIAA playoff game Friday.
Watt saw his alma mater upend Elkhorn with his family in attendance for the ceremony.
"Even if you go to college, go to the NFL, you start to lose that innocence, that passion, that excitement. I have that inner fire, that inner driver I had back from high school," explained Watt on Friday.
