USA women's hockey shares their passion in golden showdown with Canada

They were scant hours before the biggest hockey game of their lives.  They shared their emotions and their preparations with the world.

Team USA's women's hockey squad, with five members having Wisconsin ties (Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan, Amanda Kessel, Hilary Knight and Jessie Vetter) faces archrival Canada for the gold medal in Sochi. 

In other words, think of the Green Bay Packers against the Chicago Bears in a Super Bowl; the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox in the World Series; Duke against North Carolina in the NCAA Final Four Championship Game or Alabama vs. Auburn in the College Football Playoff title game.

It's that kind of passion, on a world stage.  It's that kind of passion that has kept Team USA members from Wisconsin up late, tweeting their thoughts:
