MLB to break out pink-stitched ball on Mother's Day
As has become tradition, major league baseball players will break out the pink bats on Sunday in recognition of Mother's day and breast cancers awareness. In addition, Rawlings has produced baseballs with pink stitching and graphics. The balls will also be used during games on Sunday.
They look pretty cool, and the cause is most certainly worthy, but I can't help but wonder if it will be more difficult for the batter to pick up the spin on the ball due to the lighter-than-normal color of the stitching.
