CREATED Apr. 5, 2013

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the NCAA tournament, the NCAA has revealed the top 15 players in tournament history. This can be debated until the cows come home, but the names on the list certainly conjure up vivid memories of past tournaments.

Without further ado, here are the 15 players identified as the "all-time" tournament players:

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Bill Bradley, Patrick Ewing, Grant Hill, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Christian Laettner, Jerry Lucas, Danny Manning, Hakeem Olajuwon, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Bill Walton, Jerry West.

As for the top moment in tournament history, the NCAA recognizes Laettner's buzzer-beater to beat Kentucky in the 1992 East Regional Final. The top team is Indiana's undefeated 1976 squad.
