Bobby Knight selling off championship rings and more. Why?

CREATED Oct. 16, 2012

Bobby Knight - a man who amassed 902 wins over his college coaching career, has decided to sell off his three championship rings, olympic gold medal, and a host of other memorabilia accumulated over the years.

Why is he doing this? To put his grandchildren through college.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia will conduct the auction. If you're so inclined, you can bid on the jersey Yankees pitcher Don Larson wore while pitching a perfect game in the World Series. The last bid on that item was for $146,000.

The auction runs through December 5.
