When Packers GM Ted Thompson traded up into the 5th round of the NFL draft to select linebacker Terrell Manning, fans knew there had to be something special about the kid.
After four weeks of training camp, that special something had not yet been seen. Many thought Manning was a candidate to be cut, or wind up on the practice squad. What we thought was just the case of a rookie struggling to adjust to the NFL was, in fact, much more serious.
