Brett Favre's first crack at Offensive Coordinator results in 64 points
Brett Favre is back in football. No, he's not slinging fastballs for an NFL team - rather Favre is wearing a headset and playing the role of offensive coordinator for Hattiesburg Oak Grove High School.
Oak Grove won their first game of the season last Friday by a score of 64-6. It took them just 44 seconds to reach the end zone for the first time.
While it's common for a former athlete to transition to a coaching position following their playing days, it's NOT very common for someone of Favre's stature and legend to do so. From what I can tell, there's nothing to indicate Favre isn't absolutely loving his role and continuing his life in football.
