My debut as a professional soccer goalie
One year ago today (July 17, 2011), I had the surreal pleasure of meeting my doppelganger, US Soccer goalie Tim Howard. Our meeting took place while watching the women's world cup match at an airport bar in Memphis.
If you forgot about the story, or hadn't heard about it, HERE'S a link. It was crazy.
Tomorrow, one year and one day after meeting Howard, I will be attempting to play like him in goal for the Milwaukee Wave.

Despite living in Brookfield, WI (a hotbed for youth soccer) for the majority of my life, I have never played soccer. I chose to play football in the fall, while baseball occupied the majority of my summer. After moving from Madison to Brookfield at the age of 9, I hardly knew what soccer was. But that certainly won't stop me from the opportunity to play for a professional team!
Hope to see you there!
