Andrew Bogut injury update

Andrew Bogut injury update

CREATED Feb 9, 2012

I've received a few e-mails from listeners wondering how Bucks center Andrew Bogut is recovering from his broken ankle. I've also received a couple e-mails wondering why Bogut has not been on the sidelines for home games.

I exchanged messages with Bogut yesterday. He told me that he has at least another two weeks before he can even bare weight. Swelling in the foot and ankle area is persistent, and Bogut is, "stuck at home with [his] foot up. Doctors orders."

Bogut fractured the ankle in the Bucks 105-99 over the Houston Rockets on January 25th. The Bucks put a recovery timeframe of 8-12 weeks on the injury.

Milwaukee currently holds the 8th and final spot in the eastern conference playoff race.
