Brewers/Cardinals: What they're saying in the StL

Brewers/Cardinals: What they're saying in the StL

CREATED Aug. 9, 2011

Here we go again!

The Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals have nine regular season games remaining against each other, six of which will be played in St. Louis.

The crowd at Miller Park was particularly festive during the Cardinals recent trip to Milwaukee - a three game series which the Brewers won two of three games.

Both teams enter this series playing well. The Brewers are 11-1 in their last 12 games, while the Cardinals just completed a 4-game road sweep of the Florida Marlins.

I was curious to see what the St. Louis media outlets had to say about the series. Below are a couple of links. Where relevant, click on the discussion tab above the column. I'm sure it will fill out as the day rolls on, but there are comments from Cardinals fans who are clearly irritated with Manager Tony LaRussa's antics. Antics that Tony and I discussed in a post-game interview last week at Miller Park. Enjoy.
