McNabb to Vikings?
Jason La Conforna of the NFL Network is reporting that the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a trade that would send veteran QB, Donovan McNabb to the Vikings for draft picks. All the Vikings need to do is work with McNabb's agent on a contract to make the deal final.
In regards to what the Redskins get in return, it is being reported that late mid to late round draft choices are all it took. With Tarvaris Jackson headed elsewhere, and the team not willing to throw rookie Christian Ponder to the wolves after missing out on an off-season worth of learning, the Vikings are in need of a veteran presence.
Surprising to me, however, was the reaction of some Vikings fans who are not thrilled about the idea of another aging QB leading them into the abyss.
