This has been a common trend going around the country, started by two Boston College players, both of which have struggled with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
Braun challenged three of his teammates to do it, as one does after they are challenged.
So on Sunday, with Bob Uecker in the background, Kyle Lohse, Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Gomez all took the plunge underneath a bucket full of ice water. It doesn't look that enjoyable, but it's good to know that it's for a positive cause:
You heard right: Lucroy challenged Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to do the challenge. The Packers are practicing tomorrow, and when challenged you have to execute the challenge in 24 hours.
We'll see if word gets up to Green Bay quickly enough.
