The Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks have made a trade to get a left-handed batter and gold glove outfielder to the Brew City in exchange for two minor leaguers.

According to ESPN's Jerry Krasnick, the first bit of the trade detail came with who was leaving Milwaukee for Arizona:

Not a relief pitcher, but a left-handed batting outfielder, according to Phoenix sports radio station 98.7 FM.

Gerardo Parra is hitting .305 with six homers and 30 RBI this year.

The Brewers made official the final part of the trade.

Haniger was batting .255 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI at AA Huntsville, while Banda was 6-6 with a 3.66 ERA for Class A Wisconsin.

They had to clear room for Parra, so Milwaukee's Logan Schafer goes down to Nashville while a pitcher goes on the disabled list.
