Tolzien on conditions: 'In Green Bay you have to get used to it'

Saturday night's game between the Packers and Titans was definitely not made for quarterbacks.
Still, Scott Tolzien was able to have a pretty nice outing. The former Badgers quarterback was 8 of 12 passing, accumulating 124 yards. He also had a 13-yard rush in the second half.
"I thought it went well," Tolzien told Larry McCarren of the game. "It's the first preseason game, so you don't want to make too much of it, but it went smoothly for the most part."
Fellow quarterback Matt Flynn said the ball was difficult to throw even after the rain stopped. Packers quarterbacks on the night were a combined 14 of 25 for 148 yards.
Tolzien said the conditions obviously weren't ideal, but playing in a place like Green Bay means it always isn't going to be sunny and 75 degrees.
"You're playing in Green Bay you have to get used to it because you play in some nasty stuff," Tolzien said. "Last year, I remember Matt playing in the Pittsburgh game, in the Atlanta game it was no different, so you have to get used to it."
Tolzien will likely get the majority of the action in the second half next week against the Rams with starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers expected to be active.
