Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn rotated quarters on Thursday against the Chiefs, and both impressed.
Many think Tolzien will be the Packers' back-up quarterback if necessary this season, especially after going 12 of 18 for 139 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs.
"Matt got us 10 points right off the bat," Tolzien said of the team's performance. "As an offense, guys played well altogether."
As to the decision regarding who will backup Rodgers, Tolzien is focusing on what he can control.
"It's out of my control," Tolzien said. "Things I can focus on are my preparation and my performance."
At this point in time, he doesn't even know what the coaching staff's final decision is going to be.
"I don't know what's going to happen, but you can only control what you can control," Tolzien said.
