Rodgers gives big surprise, support to Badgers
The Wisconsin Badgers got a big assist Thursday from a guy who knows a few things about passing and big scoring - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
He first spent Thursday evening as the guest of Wisconsin alum and U.S. Open golf champion Andy North watching Wisconsin get one game away from the Final Four with a 69-52 win over Baylor.
Then, he tweeted his support for UW.
On wisconsin. Go state. #MarchMadness— Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12) March 28, 2014
Finally, he surprised Badgers coach Bo Ryan and his squad with a postgame locker room visit which you can see in our media gallery.
Rodgers knows something about six-game runs to championships - the type the Badgers are attempting to complete right now.
His 2010 Green Bay Packers won six consecutive must-win games to earn a Super Bowl title, in the same stadium where the Badgers would play the Final Four: AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
