Rajion Neal is fighting for a roster spot on the Packers, and he made a nice first impression against the Titans on Saturday night.
Mike McCarthy wanted player to step up and take advantage of opportunities on Saturday night. Neal did.
"Man, it was a heck of an opportunity and a blessing," Neal told Larry McCarren after the game.
Neal's moment of the night came in the third quarter when he ran left for a 12-yard touchdown. He never had a doubt he's get into the end zone.
"No, no doubt for me," Neal said. "I really felt like I put my head down and got across, so I wasn't concerned."
Neal finished the game with five rushes for 39 yards, including the 12-yard rush and another of 15.
When asked about how the conditions affected him, Neal didn't make a big deal of them. No matter what, his job is to hold onto the football.
"It was tough because at one point it really, really started pouring down," Neal said. "But at the end of the day, it's your job to stress the facts and points to keep that ball and protect it."
