GREEN BAY -- The Packers teamed up with the Red Cross Thursday for the annual Training Camp Blood Drive at Lambeau Field.
Volunteers say hospitals are in urgent need of donors, especially those with types O-Negative, B-Negative, and A-Negative blood.
Organizers say Thursday's drive was just another way of giving back to the community.
"It gives people an opportunity to come in here to Lambeau, come up here to the 4th floor, and see a different aspect of the stadium. To participate with the Packers is wonderful and you're also doing a really good thing and helping save lives at the same time," says Red Cross Donor Recruitment Manager Michelle Otero.
