The Green Bay Packers didn't have to make many outright cuts Tuesday, though they placed eight players on either injured reserve or the physically unable to perform list.
They also put safety Sean Richardson, tackles Derek Sherrod and JC Tretter, and defensive end Jerel Worthy on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
They additionally cut kicker Zach Ramirez, after a spectacular performance by Mason Crosby over the past few days to help him keep his job.
Harris, Bulaga, Dorsey and Reed cannot play for the Packers in 2013.
Players on the PUP list have to stay on the sidelines for the first six weeks. They can't play or practice during that time.
By Saturday afternoon, they'll have to drop the roster to 53 players.
As reported by the Green Bay Press-Gazette's Mike Vandermause:

Thompson also said the roster decisions consistently evolve.
"It moves constantly," said Thompson on Tuesday.
"Everything has an effect on everything else. If somebody plays better than you thought, that changes the equation. You keep evolving, keep changing, work it out. It generally works itself out."
Thompson also said it's a balance between the preseason games and practice.
"It's a combination of all those things. There are things that happen in practice that you don't get to see in the game, and vice versa, so it's a combination. It's not just the preseason games."
Many of their final roster decisions could come as a result of Thursday night's preseason game at the Kansas City Chiefs (5:00 p.m. on 620WTMJ, 6:00 p.m. on TODAY'S TMJ4 & NBC26).
One guy who apparently has survived today's cuts, but knows he could be on the bubble is safety David Fulton.
