Intersting combo of punt returners.
Janis. Hyde, Williams and Cobb catching punts. Tramon mishandled one of them.— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 19, 2014
Less playing time for Jarrett Boykin?
FWIW, on the last play of redzone for the No. 1 offense, the three WRs were Nelson, Cobb and Adams. Not Boykin.— Marques Eversoll (@MJEversoll) August 19, 2014
Lots of zeroes in their contracts. So far, they deserve them.
There's Rodgers to Nelson in the end zone. Perfect pass on that one. Their second score today.— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 19, 2014
Aaron Rodgers, pass catcher? According to the Packers...
What? Aaron Rodgers doesn't complete every single pass he throws? Incredible.
Aaron Rodgers barely overthrows an open Jordy Nelson in the end zone. So, you know, he's actually human.— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 19, 2014
Rodgers whistles one to Boykin on a post, ball bounces off his hands. Those two hooked up three times in St. Louis but Adams is improving.— Tyler Dunne (@TyDunne) August 19, 2014
If anyone has any video of this, Journal Broadcast Group and WIsports.com would greatly appreciate it. Any opportunity to embarass Lance Allan is awesome.
Is Casey Hayward hurt?
Casey Hayward not getting reps at all in this defensive drill. Not sure why. He's on one knee with his helmet.— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) August 19, 2014
We're seeing lots of "put Justin Perillo on the practice squad" possibilities.
Scott Tolzien finds Perillo deep this period. Thompson talked a lot about the practice squad today. The Maine TE seems to be ideal guy there— Tyler Dunne (@TyDunne) August 19, 2014
Justin Perillo has practice squad written all over him.— Marques Eversoll (@MJEversoll) August 19, 2014
B.J. Raji is playing a bit of a different defense this year.
In the "doing some things" category...
Julius Peppers just destroyed FB Ina Liaina and dumped RB Michael Hill in the half-line drill.— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 19, 2014
After a day inside due to rain, the Packers are back on Ray Nitschke Field for one of four remaining public practices.
We're seeing the quarterbacks get their reps in, with a balance between the backups behind Aaron Rodgers and a bit of solid tossing from the starter.
Rodgers to Rodgers. Nice out route completion from Aaron to Richard #Packers— Lance Allan (@lanceallan) August 19, 2014
So far in this period, Rodgers has taken the first three reps then Flynn took one. Three more for Rodgers then one for Tolzien.— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 19, 2014
The defense is doing its thing, too.
Tolzien has ball knocked out of his hand by Datone Jones on scramble to the left.— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) August 19, 2014
A little bit of change on the defensive side with who's in the main practice rotation:
At the start of #Packers practice Carl Bradford and Jayrone Elliott are working with the regular defense. Typically they're inside w/scout D— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 19, 2014
Here's who is out today due to injury:
