Driver: Ndamukong Suh 'a mean player...will have to pay the consequences'

The Green Bay Packers' all-time leading receiver, Donald Driver, has chimed in about Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and his latest in a series of on-field disciplinary issues.

"He's constantly had incidents like this," Driver said about Suh while talking on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Afternoon News."  The NFL fined Suh $100,000 for a low block on the Minnesota Vikings' John Sullivan.

Suh previously served a two-game suspension after a November 2011 incident where he stomped on Packers center Evan Dietrich-Smith.

"If you know Suh, he's a great guy.  On the field, he's as mean as anybody can ever wish for.  He's a mean player...one of the meanest I've ever seen," said Driver.

"Something's going to have to change.  Roger Goodell is trying to protect the National Football League.  If that means suspending a player for an entire year, (Suh) going to have to pay the consequences."

Driver did not actually say Suh should be suspended for a year, but brought up the idea.
