Two Packers starters and someone who's now a key reserve on defense had to be limited or removed from practice on Thursday due to injury.
One of them is a positive move toward playing for a defensive back who didn't play at all in September.

Another was a move backward due to an injury suffered in practice, but an eventual return, according to the Journal Sentinel's Tyler Dunne:

The third, for a linebacker who's being counted on in an already thinned-out linebacking corps due to an injured ankle,, could decimate that corps even more.

As for running back James Starks, who will not play due to a knee injury, Coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic for a comeback sooner rather than later.
"He's getting close. I'm told he's feeling better, and he's got a great outlook on it," he said Thursday.
