What you need to know if you repeatedly hit the snooze button
It's 6:53 a.m. and the alarm goes off. Boy does that feel early. It's really not bad, you realize as you hop out of bed and hit the snooze button. The scene plays out again and again and again, until you finally get up for good at 7:14 a.m.
That's more like it, you think. I can handle this.
You might even convince yourself you just got a whole lot more sleep. Experts say that is not the case. And those few extra minutes you did get, aren't really so good for you.
I know. I know. Now you feel cheated because that extra snooze time is so wonderful.
The Wall Street Journal's Heidi Mitchell is writing about it in her Burning Question column.
