Underage, Drunk And Stupid In Mequon
What in the world is going on in Mequon?
On January 3rd, police busted a huge underage drinking party at a house in the 10300 block of North River Road in Mequon. 33 underage drinkers were cited along with the 57 year old homeowner. Police were required to obtain a search warrant after an apparently drunken party goer refused to let them in to investigate.
Now we learn that on January 18th, Mequon police busted yet another underage drinking party at a house in the 10400 block of North Riverlake Drive. This time, a 52-year-old Mequon man refused to allow police into the residence without a warrant. Ultimately, a search revealed numerous bottles of alcohol and drug paraphernalia. 8 teenagers were cited for underage drinking and the adult was cited for providing a place for underage drinking.
For the record, these two locations are within a few blocks of each other.
So, is this the new normal in Mequon? Underage drinking condoned by really stupid adults?
