Sen. Ron Johnson Reacts to Developments in Israel

By WTMJ Staff. CREATED Jul 17, 2014
Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) reacted to recent developments in Israel on Thursday.

He told WTMJ's WTMJ's Jeff Wagner:

"I think we need to stop trying to force Israel to make an agreement with somebody who doesn’t even acknowledge their right to exist (and) fires thousands of rockets into the Israel.

"Can you imagine if this were America and Canada was indiscriminantly lobbing thousands of rockets into the American population?"

"I think Israel has been unbelievably restrained, been willing to give up all kinds of consessions to achieve peace.  It’s just that they don’t have a willing, good-faith partner in that peace process which is just a tragedy."
