Oprah launches 'Just Say Hello' campaign with help from celebs
It's a new campaign by Oprah Winfrey and it is aimed at helping people communicate with each other.
All you have to do is say hello. She is calling the campign "Just Say Hello."
Winfrey is hoping the initiative can help people fight loneliness, life spirits and brighten days. If those things are accomplished, the former talk-show host and media mogul believes that lives will be saved.
Winfrey appeared via Skype on Piers Morgan's CNN show to talk about the campaign. When asked if she ever felt lonely, she responded.
"Absolutely not. I am really happy being with myself."
According to ContactMusic.com, various celebrities including Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Anniston and Taylor Swift are lending their support to the effort.
The video encourages people to share their hello experiences through social media using the hashtag #justsayhello.
