There are more injury issues the Packers will have to overcome as they enter the preseason game Thursday night in Kansas City (5:00 p.m. on 620WTMJ, 6:30 p.m. on TODAY'S TMJ4/NBC26).
Those involve running back DuJuan Harris and linebacker Brad Jones, each of whom have been tabbed as starters this year.
There is a chance Harris may miss the season opener against San Francisco on September 8th.
As tweeted by ESPN's Rob Demovsky:
MM: No update on DuJuan Harris, seeking a second opinion on his knee. Brad Jones ruled out. That's it for McCarthy— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 26, 2013
Ruled out as in Jones will not play Thursday against the Chiefs due to a hamstring injury.
Jones is expected to play a key role in the inside linebacking corps along with A.J. Hawk.
Harris and rookie Eddie Lacy were expected to split a decent amount of playing time at running back.
