Not much road construction for Packers fans going to Friday's game
GREEN BAY - Drivers heading north to Green Bay for Friday night's preseason battle between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks will have some things to remember as they head north.
Most of the route from Milwaukee on both I-43 and U.S. 41 should be construction free for the "Milwaukee" gold-package game ticket holders.
The State Patrol says that any construction involving lane closures was done prior to Friday's game.
However, there are a few spots where you'll see orange barrels, particularly around DePere on U.S. 41. There won't be any lane closures in that area, according to the State Patrol.
The good news for drivers who will take the Lombardi Avenue exit off of U.S. 41: there will be two right-hand turn lanes for drivers to use as they get off the freeway.
Once they arrive at Lambeau, they'll find that Oneida Street will be closed between Lombardi Avenue and Potts Avenue.
Drivers will be able to reach the southeastern corner of the parking lots at Lambeau Field, but they can't continue north on Oneida Street.
