One of the young running backs with the Green Bay Packers says he's happy simply to return to action after missing most of the last two games with a concussion.
"Just to be back out on the field, period, to go out there, to help the rest of the backs out. This offense is always good," said second-round draft pick Eddie Lacy to TODAY'S TMJ4's Rod Burks.
What did he learn from the experience on how to avoid such hits?
"Next time, don't jump," he joked.
"I saw Jordy (Nelson) in front of me because I didn't want to run him over. He's run of our top receivers, so I was like, 'I'll just jump.' Next time, I may just have to run into Jordy," he said with a kidding laugh.
The Packers will also get running back Jonathan Franklin back after he suffered a foot injury during the Packers' 34-30 loss at Cincinnati in week 3.
Franklin ripped off 103 yards in that loss before the fumble that led to the Bengals' clinching score.
"He had a tremendous game. If we can just continue to keep that rolling and get all three of us backs out there (healthy) at the same time, I think we'll be able to prove that we can actually run the ball."
