MINNEAPOLIS - A former Packers receiver who now plays for one of the team's archrivals publicly apologized for comments he has made about QB Aaron Rodgers:
"I don't really recall saying anything negative about Aaron or anyone over there, but hey, I apologize," Jennings said, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
"Everything I say is all out of fun. I'm just saying something just to say it. They know that's not me," Jennings told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
"Aaron (Rodgers is) a phenomenal quarterback. He knows that. No one needs to tell him that. What he's done over the course of the last five years? Phenomenal. He set the bar high for quarterbacks in this league. He set the bar high for offenses in this league."
"One of the lessons you learn is that you can't control everything...you worry about the opinions of your team and how they feel about you," said Rodgers.
