The running back whose fumble led to the Cincinnati Bengals' game-winning score over the Green Bay Packers is responding with a refreshed attitude Monday morning.
Jonathan Franklin, the only healthy running back on the Packers' roster after James Starks' injury, broke the 100-yard barrier before losing the football on a 4th-and-inches play late in the 4th quarter.
The Bengals recovered, and Terrence Newman ran it back for a touchdown for a 34-30 win.
After 16 hours to discern the loss and sleep on it, Franklin - devoutly spiritual - tweeted this:
Look up, Get up but never give up!!! Life is about the bounce back and today's the first day..God lead me I can't do it alone #prayedup— Johnathan Franklin (@JFrank2308) September 23, 2013
Franklin gets two weeks to prepare for the next game with which to bounce back, Detroit on October 6th.
