  • The next in a series of compact storm systems has already arrived in our region.

  • We'll see periods of light snow through much of the day with a couple inches of accumulation by the time all is said and done.

  • As the upper level winds become more "zonal" or west to east, temperatures will begin moderating, approaching seasonal averages around 30 degrees or better.

  • Tomorrow is a break in the action with some sunshine. Then the progressive pattern pushes in another disturbance rapidly by tomorrow night and Thursday.

  • Associated precipitation will be another couple inches of light snow.
