  • MILWAUKEE - We'll begin the work week with an abundance of sunshine and continued very chilly conditions as high pressure dominates the weather from our region through the middle of the nation.

  • Interestingly enough, Hurricane Sandy will end up continuing to have an impact on our conditions more than a thousand miles away. The atmospheric pattern will be "backed up" so we won't see any significant west to east progression of storms headed in our direction any time soon.

  • In fact, as Sandy moves inland on the East coast, we'll see clouds spreading "backwards" and more noticeably for us, very windy conditions. This could produce large waves and even some flooding along the shores of Lake Michigan.

  • Today: Sunny, breezy, and cool | High: Near 48 | Wind: N 10-15 mph gusting to 25 mph

  • Tonight: Partly cloudy and chilly | Low: Near 34 | Wind: NNW 12-22 mph gusting to 30 mph

  • Tuesday: Partly cloudy, very windy, and cool | High: Near 46 | Wind: NW 20-30 mph gusting to 40 mph

  • Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, very windy, and chilly | Low: Near 31 | Wind: NW 12-22 mph gusting to 30 mph

  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy, breezy, and cool | High: Near 47
