Storm Team 4: Storms, 40-degree temperature drop coming to Milwaukee

  • The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for big changes this afternoon as a powerful cold front moves through the state.

  • As of noon, it was humid and 72 in Milwaukee, 50s in Wausau with big storms and 36 and snowing in Twin Cities.

  • The front and storms will be in Milwaukee by 3pm with heavy rain and frequent lightning. Temperatures will drop into the 40s by 7pm with showers. The showers and clouds will clear out late this evening and lows will drop into the 30s by morning with wind chills in the 20s.

  • High pressure moves in for the weekend with sunshine and highs in the upper 40s and a brisk wind for Friday and highs in the mid 40s for Saturday and Sunday with a lighter wind and lows near freezing. The 40s stick around all of next week!
