  • MILWAUKEE - The chill of fall is in the air in Southeastern Wisconsin, just in time for mid-September and a Packers-Bears game.

Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele says that the 60-degree plus temperatures we've experienced early Thursday won't rise much throughout the day.

"An autumn cold front has swept through the region sending temperatures plummeting," said Scott.

  • "Our highs today will be about 25 degrees below yesterday's 86 degree reading."

Scott also tells us to expect a little rain as well Thursday.

"The main area of precipitation is still off to the southwest behind the initial boundary, but it will lift into our area as the day progresses," explains Scott.

  • "We'll see enough atmospheric forcing to produce some scattered rain primarily from mid-morning into the mid-afternoon. The showers rapidly diminish this evening and clouds will rapidly decrease tonight."

Those who enjoy summer warmth, however, will get a taste of it over the weekend.

"High pressure sets up shop for Friday through the weekend leading to a lot of sunshine and warming temperatures," said Scott.
