  • MILWAUKEE - Sunshine and seemingly ideal temperatures will reign over Southeastern Wisconsin on Monday, according to Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.

"High pressure from the surface into the upper atmosphere continues building into the region," said Scott.

He says Monday's sunshine will extend for at least two more days, but with a bit more warmth.

  • "This kicks off an extended period of very quiet weather. We'll experience plenty of sunshine and dry weather through midweek."

You can also expect the mercury to rise throughout the week.

"Winds will shift to the southwest sending our temperatures higher today and much higher by Wednesday.  Our midweek highs jump back into the mid and upper 80s."

  • Scott tells us that we shouldn't expect precipitation until at least Thursday.

"Though there could be a few showers toward the end of the week, we're entering a very dry period, again."
