  • MILWAUKEE - People in Southeastern Wisconsin can expect another hot August day to endure on Friday.

"An upper level ridge has lifted into Southeast Wisconsin allowing some hot temperatures to enter the region," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.

"Readings will rise to near 90 degrees again in many locations."

  • Scott also tells us not to expect rain for about 36 hours.

"While there is a little ripple in the atmosphere approaching today, it has been weakening the closer it gets and so we should remain free from any significant widespread precipitation for Friday," explained Scott.

"Saturday looks to be another quiet day with plenty of sunshine driving temperatures well above average again."

  • Then, Saturday night and Sunday will bring the best opportunity for rain.

"The next more organized storm system should begin spreading some clouds into our area later Saturday into Saturday night with the next best chance for showers and storms following on Sunday."
