Once again, all-star shortstop Jean Segura will not be part of the Milwaukee Brewers lineup today when they play the Cleveland Indians in spring training action.
Could he see time on the disabled list instead of a hopeful Opening Day Start?
As reported by MLB.com's Adam McCalvy:
Ron Roenicke couldn't rule out a DL stint for Jean Segura, but still hopeful it doesn't get that far. MRI yesterday was negative. #Brewers— Adam McCalvy (@AdamMcCalvy) March 26, 2014
Journal Sentinel beat writer and 620WTMJ Brewers 360 contributor Tom Haudricourt was also curious about Segura's status after not seeing him in the starting lineup.
The Brewers organization responded to him on Twitter.
@Haudricourt Jean will be getting multiple at-bats on the minor league side today. He'll be dugout-hopping for as many ABs as possible— Brewers Player Dev (@BrewersPD) March 26, 2014
