Packers make injury moves to get down to 75 players

It appears the Green Bay Packers are going the injury route to lower their roster to 75 players, as required today by the NFL.

Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky:

Many of those roster moves were expected, particularly the B.J. Raji move.

They also have let talented tight end Colt Lyerla go.

USA TODAY'S Tom Peliserro gave this perspective:

The team initially intended to keep Lyerla on injured reserve after his torn knee ligaments suffered during the Family Night practice earlier this month.
