Report: Jennings doesn't want to return to Bucks

By Jay Sorgi. CREATED Jul 15, 2013

MILWAUKEE - The rocky relationship between the Milwaukee Bucks and point guard Brandon Jennings may be nearing an impasse, if a published report Monday is correct.

The Sporting News says Jennings does not want to play for the Bucks in the 2013-14 season.

Jennings is a restricted free agent this season, meaning the Bucks have the right to match any free-agent offer given to him.

The Bucks attempted to sign another restricted free agent point guard, Jeff Teague of the Atlanta Hawks.  The Hawks matched the bid and kept him this weekend.

Jennings took time on Twitter Sunday to try to negate media reports about him, saying that "whatever you hear in the media, it isn't true."

He later deleted those tweets.

There are some options for the Bucks, including signing him to a qualifying offer of $4.5 million and let him roam free agency next year, signing him long-term (if they can heal their seemingly damaged relationship with him), or a sign-and-trade deal
