Haudricourt: Braun will have most scrutiny of any MLB player in 2014

Suspended left fielder Ryan Braun will wear a Milwaukee Brewers uniform for the first time since July 2013 when he suits up for spring training in February.
At that moment, no spotlight may burn more hot on any other player in the sport than Braun, according to Journal Sentinel beat writer and "Brewers 360" contributor Tom Haudricourt.
"I don't know if there'll be a player in MLB next year that'll be under more scrutiny than Ryan Braun," said Haudricourt Monday on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."
Haudricourt says that Braun is still a player in his prime, compared to veteran Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez who may have a greater punishment for performance enhancing drug use but has less of a shelf life.
When will Braun answer questions about his use, even as he admitted using earlier this summer? Haudricourt is hoping for a fast tracked opportunity for Braun, so that the suspended superstar doesn't have it hanging over him when spring training begins.
"I think it's time. The question is, does he? We've been given no indication that anything's coming anytime soon. I'll stand firm on saying that it won't be a good way to start next spring talking about it for the first time. Maybe he's just not going to talk about it."
