Brewers earn 3-1 win over Padres, thanks to Gomez's bat

MILWAUKEE - Two days removed from the Ryan Braun suspension, the Milwaukee Brewers are getting back to the reality of the rest of the 2013 season.

Wednesday night, that reality was a bit sweeter thanks to the bat of Carlos Gomez.

He went 4-4 in a 3-1 win over the San Diego Padres.

Gomez ended up with two doubles and two singles on the night.

The Brewers try to end their homestand with a win today against the Padres.
