Brewers offering free game tickets in Big League Blood Drive

By Jaclyn Brandt. CREATED Aug 28, 2013 - UPDATED: Aug 28, 2013

MILWAUKEE - The Brewers are offering fans a chance to receive a voucher for two tickets to see an upcoming game.

All you have to do is donate blood in the Brewers’ "Big League Blood Drive" at Miller Park. The team said the heat wave that hit Tuesday slowed down donations, and they are hoping for 600 more donors on Wednesday.

Donors will receive tickets to either the Sept. 4 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, or the Sept. 16 game against the Chicago Cubs.

The drive continues at 7 a.m. Wednesday and will take donors until 7 p.m. There is free parking and childcare available.

Walk-ins are welcome, but donors can schedule an appointment by visiting www.bcw.edu/appt, m.bcw.edu on a mobile device, or by calling 1-877-BE-A-HERO (1-877-232-4376). Donors should bring a photo ID that includes birth date.
