GREEN BAY - Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga will miss the season due to a torn ACL, according to the Journal Sentinel.
Bulaga suffered the injury during Saturday's Family Night. The team's medical staff physician Patrick McKenzie diagnosed the injury after the scrimmage after Bulaga said his knee "didn't quite feel right", according to the Journal Sentinel.
Pro football reporter and Packers Radio Network contributor Hub Arkush said that, according to Bulaga's father, the tackle is going to noted surgeon Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion.
"We're waiting to see what he has to say," Joe Bulaga told McGinn. "Bryan said it feels good and he was able to finish the drills (after the injury). Right now we're just sitting and waiting."
McGinn reports that the Packers will go to Bakhtiari, though not necessarily at that position.
I wrote Bakhtiari expected to replace Bulaga in lineup; I didn't say at LT. Unsure if Bakhtiari will play RT or LT. Newhouse is RT or LT.— Bob McGinn (@BobMcGinn) August 5, 2013
