Lacy cleared to play, but mixed news overall at running back for Packers

CREATED Sep. 30, 2013

Good news came Monday for the Green Bay Packers as their running game gets a little healthier.

Second-round draft pick Eddie Lacy has been cleared to play Sunday against Detroit after his concussion.

"Good to have him back out there.  He's a full go," said Packers coach Mike McCarthy after practice Monday.

Running back Johnathan Franklin also practiced, but James Starks did not.

The Packers also added Michael Hill to the active roster from the practice squad.
