Crosby, Lacy earn NFL monthly honors

CREATED Oct. 31, 2013

Both Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby and running back Eddie Lacy can put an award up on their mantles from the NFL for their accomplishments in October.

The NFL named Lacy its NFC offensive rookie of the month for October, and Crosby its NFC player of the month.

Lacy, in his first year from Alabama, rushed for 395 yards in the Packers' four games this month.

In the same time period, Crosby was 11 for 11 on extra points and 13 for 15 in field goals.

The Packers went 4-0 in October, beating Detroit, Baltimore, Cleveland and Minnesota to grab first place in the NFC North with a 5-2 record.
