The Pro Bowl linebacker for the Green Bay Packers is seemingly in good shape for playing Sunday's Packers-Eagles game as he recovers from his broken thumb.
Clay Matthews has been listed as probable for the game.
Coach Mike McCarthy said, however, that Matthews will not have full capacity as he plays with a club on his hand.
"Your hand placement, not being able to grab. Certain things you have to do differently. He's spent individual time with Kevin Green going through all those specifics," said Mike McCarthy.
"The obvious is the inability to grab. He's an excellent hands player. He does very good job with his placement and second reaction. He'll have to do something different."
