Bobsledder goes from catching Aaron Rodgers passes to Sochi Olympics

CREATED Jan. 20, 2014

A member of the U.S. Bobsled Team has gone from wearing Packers green and gold to pushing a sled in the hopes of Olympic gold.

Johnny Quinn, who tried out at wide receiver in a Green Bay Packers training camp in 2008, has made the U.S. Olympic bobsled team in the four-man competition.

Quinn was part of the Packers' 2008 preseason squad, but was released on the team's final cut before the regular season.

His addition to the team means 27 Olympians with Wisconsin ties competing in Sochi.
