Marquette comes back to earn OT win at Georgetown

Buzz Williams' men's basketball squad has to dig out of a major hole, and quickly, if they want an at-large NCAA tournament berth.
It did in one way, with an 80-72 comeback win in overtime against Georgetown Monday night, a rather unexpected win.

MU was down three possessions late in the contest, but produced an improbable comeback including clutch free-throw shooting from Davante Gardner and an unexpected three-pointer from Todd Mayo in the final six seconds of regulation.

It went overtime, and nearly into Tuesday morning on the east coast.
Then, freshman John Dawson produced a three-pointer that became the dagger for Marquette in the improbable comeback win.

Marquette's schedule doesn't get any easier. On Saturday, MU faces an angry 4th-ranked Villanova squad that lost in a blowout to Creighton on its own home floor.
