Badger Andy Kowske is psyched about NCAA Tournament
In 2000 the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team made a memorable run through the NCAA tournament. The team made it to the Final Four where they lost to Michigan State.
One of the play makers on that Badgers team was 6'8" forward Andy Kowske. He led the team in rebounding and field goal percentage. He was second in scoring, averaging 9.4 points per game.
During the NCAA tournament Kowske was named to the all-West Regional team after averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in four tournament victories.
Kowske is raising a family right here in Milwaukee.
He tells Wisconsin's Afternoon News he will be watching this year's tournament and feels good about this years Badger team.
